Peopl - the third way.
The HRIS market usually gives growing companies two paths: enterprise platforms packed with power but heavy to run, or lightweight tools that move fast but can’t flex to how you work. Peopl is the third option: an AI that does the work, shaped to your business, with a go-live measured in days and pricing simple enough to fit on a single page.
Proudly Canadian
Made here, for the way Canadian teams run HR.
Bring your own AI.
Connect the assistant your team already uses. It works through Peopl’s approval chain, so the AI proposes and a person still approves. No lock-in, no new tool to learn.
one approval chain
Open by design, on the Model Context Protocol. Every change still routes through a person. Your data stays yours, export anytime. No other HRIS lets you bring your own AI.
You already know this picture.
Where does your HR live right now?

No version control. No access control. No audit trail.

Re: Re: Fwd: vacation request??
Buried in an inbox. No record. No follow-through.
“approved I guess?”
1thumbs-up reaction
A thumbs-up is not an approval.
In Peopl, it’s one system. Asked, approved, recorded, synced to payroll.
- Asked
- Approved
- Recorded
- Synced to payroll
An AI that does the work, not one that gives directions.
Every HRIS has an assistant now. Most of them tell you how to do the task. Ask Peopl does the task, then routes it for your approval. Same request, two very different answers.
Other HRIS AI
Give Sam a $5,000 raise, effective Monday.
It answers.
Ask Peopl
Give Sam a $5,000 raise, effective Monday.
It acts. You approve.
An AI you can trust.
What can Ask Peopl do on its own?
It drafts and prepares; it never approves. Every change it proposes routes through your existing approval chain, and a person signs off. The AI does the work, you keep the decision.
Does our data train AI models?
No. Your employee data is never used to train AI models, by us or by the providers we run on. It is used only to answer the request in front of you.
Which AI does Peopl use, and where does it run?
Ask Peopl runs on leading commercial AI providers under agreements that exclude training on your data. Your records are stored in Canada, and only the minimum text needed for a request is sent to the model, never SIN, banking, or medical data.
How is AI activity recorded?
Every AI-initiated action lands in the same audit trail as a human one, marked as AI-assisted and tied to the person who approved it. Nothing happens off the record.
And before a manager’s feedback is saved, Ask Peopl flags biased language so it never reaches the employee, and the audit trail records that it did. No HRIS we know of markets this.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Peopl cost?
Every price is on the pricing page. You pay per module, so you only pay for what you use, with no hidden quotes and no mandatory implementation fees.
Where is our data stored?
In Canada, in the ca-central-1 region. Peopl is built for Canadian privacy law, with an audit trail on every action and consent that auto-expires for talent-pool candidates.
How long does it take to get started?
Days, not quarters. After a short discovery call we map your processes, configure Peopl to your rules and approval chains, connect the integrations you need, and you go live. No implementation consultants required.
Can we use our own AI with Peopl?
Yes. Peopl is open over the Model Context Protocol, so the AI you already use can read your data and draft changes. Every change still routes through your approval chain, and you can export your data anytime. No lock-in.
Running in days, not quarters, with no implementation consultants.
